Attorney Raj Singh was born in San Diego County, California, where he was raised by his parents Shiv and Lynn. Mr. Singh moved to Imperial County in 2010 and now permanently resides here with his wife Heather and their three wonderful children.

Mr. Singh graduated from high school in 1999 and then enrolled at Grossmont Community College in San Diego. Mr. Singh ultimately transferred to UCLA, where he completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, with an emphasis on international politics.

Mr. Singh demonstrated academic excellence throughout his college career. At Grossmont Community College, Mr. Singh was on the President’s List for academic excellence for five consecutive semesters. Based on his academic success at Grossmont College, Mr. Singh secured admission to UCLA. Mr. Singh continued to excel academically at UCLA where he graduated with a 3.89 GPA and successfully completed the College Honors program.

Following his graduation from UCLA, Mr. Singh took the Law School Admissions Test and scored in the ninety-fifth (95th) percentile. Based on his academic track record at UCLA and his incredible test scores, Mr. Singh was admitted to the University of San Diego School of Law on the Dean’s Academic Scholarship and graduated near the top of his class with honors.

Mr. Singh became an attorney in February, 2010, and has practiced law exclusively in Imperial County since then. Through a combination of professional experience, hard work, and dedication to his craft, Mr. Singh has built a successful track record of representing clients in a variety of practice areas, including criminal law, family law, personal injury, and bankruptcy.

As a criminal defense attorney, Mr. Singh has successfully defended a wide spectrum of cases, including traffic tickets, misdemeanors, DUI crimes, felony offenses, domestic violence crimes, drug trafficking offenses, sex offenses, and three strikes cases. Mr. Singh has secured the release from custody of countless incarcerated Defendants, and has successfully negotiated case dismissals for his clients. Mr. Singh has also assisted numerous Imperial County residents terminate their probation early and expunge their criminal records.

Mr. Singh is knowledgeable in family law and aggressive in protecting his clients rights. Mr. Singh has obtained favorable results for his clients on a wide variety of family law issues, including child custody, child support, spousal support and marital property distributions. Mr. Singh has also successfully prosecuted and defended domestic violence restraining orders.

Mr. Singh is currently a partner at Williams and Singh, LLP. In addition to representing clients in a variety of practice areas in Imperial County, Mr. Singh is also a licensed Realtor. 

In addition to his work as an attorney, Mr. Singh is an active member of the local community. In 2010, he volunteered as an assistant coach for the Southwest High School Mock Trial team. That year, Southwest won the Imperial Valley Mock Trial Competition, and Mr. Singh received congressional recognition for his work with the team. Since 2010, Mr. Singh has continued to volunteer for the local Mock Trial competition as a scoring attorney.
